Juneteenth Celebrations (Friday)
The DMV honors Juneteenth with community celebrations centered on Black freedom, culture, and joy, including AFRAM in Baltimore (6/19 - 6/21 in Druid Hill Park), the NMAAHC’s community day honoring Opal Lee, the “grandmother of Juneteenth” (6/19, 11a - 4p, free with registration) and the Freedom Day celebration at the National Harbor (6/19, 11a - 5p, free).
Embassy of France Block Party with IDK, TOB, & Friends (Saturday)
The French Embassy opens its doors for a night of live music, food, & more as part of Georgetown’s Fête de la Musique celebration. Home Rule Music Festival (Saturday)
